The first green environmental protection theme exhibition in the western region in 2024 will be held in Chengdu
The scene of the current exhibition
UNDER the Guidance of CHINA ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION and Italian Trade Commission, and hosted by Sichuan Environmental Protection Industry Association and Italian Exhibition Group Chengdu Huayi Zhonglian Exhibition Co., Ltd., the 2024 CHENGDU INTERNATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION EXPO (ECOMONODO CHINA - CDEPE 2024) WILL BE HELD FROM MAY 16 TO MAY 18, 2024 AT THE CHENGDU CENTURY CITY NEW INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION AND EXHIBITION CENTER, WHICH IS THE FIRST GREEN ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION THEME EXHIBITION HELD IN THE WESTERN REGION THIS YEAR.
It is reported that the exhibition is expected to have an exhibition area of 25,000 square meters, and 11 forums and meetings will be held at the same time, with the participation of nearly 300 enterprises and brands at home and abroad, focusing on the display of comprehensive environmental treatment, water pollution control, air pollution prevention and control, environmental monitoring, solid waste treatment, disposal and utilization, garbage recycling and transportation, energy conservation and carbon reduction, new energy, batteries and energy storage, site remediation, environmental services and other green field technologies, equipment, services and solutions.
New elements help carbon peaking and carbon neutrality
The Chengdu International Environmental Protection Expo aims to build a platform for green technology exchange between western China and the world, and help meet the challenges brought about by the environment and energy transition. This year, for the first time, the expo will combine the existing environmental protection theme with new energy themes such as solar energy, photovoltaic and energy storage, and set up a new energy exhibition area to respond to China's investment and efforts in energy transition.
International exchanges help cooperation
The Italian Trade Agency (ITA) organized 11 Italian environmental protection enterprises to appear in the Italian National Pavilion of the Expo, covering water treatment, garbage recycling and removal, solid waste treatment and comprehensive utilization of resources, environmental monitoring, air treatment and other professional fields, and will also hold a series of activities such as "Italian Environmental Protection Technology Enterprise Roadshow" and "Sino-Italian Environmental Protection Technology Matchmaking Meeting" to share Italy's leading technologies and enterprises in the field of environmental protection with environmental protection practitioners in southwest China.
A series of meetings to discuss the future
This year's expo will hold the 2024 Western Ecological Environment Development Summit Forum - injecting new green kinetic energy into new quality productivity, building high-level environmental protection industry support, and inviting domestic and foreign experts to discuss the synergy between China and Europe on the use of artificial intelligence to empower the environmental industry and the global challenge of climate change. China-EU cooperation on new quality productivity and decarbonization. At the same time, 11 forums and conferences will be held, focusing on water development, new pollutant monitoring, air pollution prevention and control, organic solid waste treatment and resource utilization, and other hot spots in the industry, as well as the 8th Italian Sustainable Development Day and Chengdu-Europe Industry Dialogue, China-Italy Environmental Protection Technology Matchmaking and other international exchange activities.
